After the Application

After your application, the university will register you for the entrance test of the Niedersächsisches Studienkolleg. The entrance test is a prerequisite for taking part in the specialisation courses. Interested students who are confident enough to take the assessment test without having attended a course beforehand will be invited by the university to take the so-called external Ferststellungsprüfung (external university entrance exam) and do not have to take the entrance test. The Niedersächsische Studienkolleg offers special preparatory courses for refugees who do not have a direct higher education entrance qualification (HZB). If you are interested, please see the information on the page Preparatory Courses for Refugees.
